Hyderabad, Nov.1 (NSS): BRS party MLA Padi Kaushik Reddy today expressed his displeasure over the functioning of the State BC Commission. He alleged that the BC Commission had become like a Congress commission.
He attended a public hearing held at the Karimnagar district Collectorate auditorium on Friday for a public hearing on the reservation of local bodies.
Speaking on the occasion, he said he was not even given time to speak although he came here out of respect for the commission. “Not a single person from the Congress has come forward before the commission because the Congress party does not have faith in the commission. Justice will be done to BCs in the dedicated commission itself. The government should act in accordance with the High Court verdict,” he said.
Meanwhile, the representatives of political parties and BC organisations in the combined Karimnagar district came out in large numbers to express their views before the commission. The BC Commission will hold an open hearing in the joint district headquarters across the State till 13th of the next month.
