Passing out Parade held at CISF Hakimpet

Hyderabad, Nov.6 (NSS):Passing out Parade of the 17th batch AC/Exe (LDCE) and 8th Batch SubInspector/Executive (Ex-Servicemen) trainees was held at the National Industrial Security Academy (NISA), CISF Hakimpet, here. The colorful and vibrant passing out of the trainee officers and sub-officers is a momentous occasion for these trainee officers and sub-officers, showcasing the successful culmination of rigorous training for 29 trainee officers including 02 lady trainee officers and 17 male Sub-Inspectors.

  1. Sunil Emmanuel, IPS, Inspector General/Director, National Industrial Security Academy (NISA) was the chief guest. Delivering his address, he emphasized the significance of this event and the achievements of the trainees. The ceremony witnessed presence of senior officers from CISF and family members of the trainees.

The passing out contingents comprised 27 male Assistant Commandants, two female Assistant Commandants and 17 male Sub Inspectors/Executives who completed their comprehensive training, gaining knowledge and skills in diverse subjects. The curriculum covered indoor disciplines such as Industrial Security Management, Soft Skills, Aviation Security, Disaster Management, VIP Security, Leadership, and outdoor activities including Urban Tactics, Jungle Warfare, and Weapon Training in the latest firearms and so on.

These batches underwent full-fledged Competency-Based Training (CBT), a pioneering methodology to enhance their capabilities for varied roles in the field. The successful implementation of CBT underscores NISA’s commitment to producing highly competent officers ready to face field challenges. The significant contributions of NISA in training were recognized with the National Award for Excellence in Training in 2016 by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT).

The institution also received the ‘Finest India Skills & Talent (F.I.S.T) 2017 Award’ for being the best Security Training Institution in the country, as conferred by the Fire and Safety Association of India. NISA also won the Union Home Minister’s Trophy for the Best Training Institute in the category of GOs’ among the CAPFs twice in 2017-18 & 2020-21. The Academy has been designated as a “Centre of Excellence” in the field of Industrial Security Management by the Government of India. NISA plays a crucial role in building Specialized Response Teams for Disaster Management at the national level.

The trophy for the best Indoor, best Outdoor and All Round Best events was secured and awarded to Rammurthy Kaundal, Assistant Commandant and the All Round Best trophy amongst the Sub-Inspector batch was scored by SI/Exe. Yogesh Sharma.
