Hyderabad, Oct.9 (NSS): Patnam Mahender Reddy officially assumed charge as the Chief Whip of the Telangana Legislative Council in the presence of Council Chairman Gutha Sukhender Reddy.
The ceremony was attended by prominent political figures, including Assembly Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar, Ministers Sridhar Babu and Ponnam Prabhakar, MLAs Rammohan Reddy, Prakash Goud, Eerlapalli Shankar, and Malreddy Ranga Reddy. Several MLCs, including Kodandaram, Balmuri Venkat, Egge Mallesh, Bhanu Prakash, and Prabhakar, were also present. Former MPs Madhu Yaskhi Goud and Gaddam Ranjith Reddy attended the event as well.
Among the other notable attendees were Vikarabad Zilla Parishad’s former chairperson Patnam Sunitha Mahender Reddy, and leaders from Hyderabad, Rangareddy, Medchal-Malkajgiri districts, such as Vajresh Yadav, Charan Kaushik Yadav, Parameshwar Reddy, Rammohan Goud, Rohin Reddy, Kolanu Hanumanth Reddy and Bheem Bharat, who extended their best wishes to Mahender Reddy on his new role.
