
Hyderabad, Nov.22 (NSS): Minister for Health Damodar Raja Narasimha has asked pharmacists working in government hospitals to work with great responsibility.
He also directed the officials that steps should be taken to address the artificial shortage of medicines in government hospitals across the Telangana State.
The Minister held a review meeting with officials at the Secretariat here on Friday and discussed the strengthen of Central medical stores system in government hospitals.
He stated that measures must be initiated to ensure the availability of pharmaceutical staff, essential infrastructure, and transport vehicles for the supply of medicines through Central Medical Stores (CMS).
The Minister also reviewed the reports of ground inspection conducted by a Task Force, which was established to monitor the performance of healthcare facilities in government hospitals.
