PM Vishwakarma scheme showing a promising progress: Etala

Hyderabad, Sept.20 (NSS): On the sidelines of National ‘PM Vishwakarma’ Programme in Maharashtra’s Wardha today and to celebrate one year of achievements under the PM Vishwakarma scheme an event was organised by National Skill Training Institute (NSTI), Vidyanagar here today. Malkajgiri MP Eatala Rajender was the chief guest.

Speaking at the event, Etala Rajender said, the Pradhan Mantri Vishwakarma scheme represents a significant step towards empowering traditional artisans and craftspeople in India. Highlighting the benefits of PM Vishwakarma, he said this scheme has become a game-changer for the livelihoods of many Vishwakarma’s and the preservation of India’s rich cultural heritage. He said PM Vishwakarma implementation in Telangana is showing a promising progress, with substantial enrolment and training activities conducted across the State. He said maximum enrolments received from Telangana from tailors. Thus, PM Vishwakarma is empowering traditional artisans and craftspeople by providing modern tools training and financial assistance to enhance their livelihoods, he added.

He also distributed PM Vishwakarma certificates to the eligible beneficiaries.

G.R. Surya Raj, Director of Dynamic Tools Pvt Ltd & chairman of National Skill Training Institute Vidyanagar, K. Srinivasa Rao, Director, National Instructional Media Institute, Chennai, Regional Director of RDSDE Telangana & Andhra Pradesh,  National skill Training Institute (NSTI), Vidyanagar and artisans from various districts of Telangana participated in the event.
