Hyderabad, Nov.24 (NSS): State Police have issued notices to BRS party MLA Padi Kaushik Reddy. On November 9, Kaushik Reddy held a dharna and rally in Huzurabad demanding the release of the second instalment of Dalit Bandhu scheme’s money. However, he did not take any permission from the police for the dharna and rally program.
The police have issued notices after registering a case against MLA Kaushik Reddy and other BRS leaders under Section 35(3) of the BNS Act. Kaushik Reddy is taking the lead in criticizing the government on behalf of his party. He accused minister Ponnam Prabhakar of indulging in corruption in the transportation of coal ash. He is also often criticising CM Revanth Reddy’s governance policies outside and inside the assembly and in media meetings. It was Kaushik Reddy who had a challenge dispute with BRS party’s rebel MLA Arikapudi Gandhi in the issue of defecting MLAs.
