
Hyderabad, July 16 (NSS): Minister for Transport Ponnam Prabhakar has requested Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar to take initiative measures for the adequate budget allocations to Karimnagar district in the upcoming Union budget.
In an open letter written to Union Minister Bandi Sanjay Kumar, Minister Ponnam Prabhakar said that since Bandi Sanjay is in the central government, he should take responsibility to ensure that adequate budget allocations are made in the coming budget session for the financial year 2024-25 for the Telangana State and specifically for the Karimnagar parliamentary segment.
He stated that these long pending development works should be completed by allocating sufficient funds in the upcoming budget for the benefit of the people of Karimnagar Parliamentary constituency.
Minister Ponnam Prabhakar said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, the State government is committed to extend its support to the Central government in improving Centre-State relations for rapid development in the State.
In this regard, the Centre should show its commitment in fulfilling the guarantees and promises given to Telangana at the time of the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh, he added.
