Hyderabad, Dec.9 (RAHNUMA): Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka stated that Public–Private Partnerships (PPPs) are indispensable to realising the vision of a USD 3 trillion economy.
Bhatti Vikramarka on Tuesday attended the panel discussion “Innovative PPPs: Harnessing Private Capital Towards Public Goods” at the Telangana Rising Global Summit and addressed the gathering as the chief guest.
He said that as the Telangana Rising Summit unveils the roadmap of Vision 2047 toward becoming a USD 3 trillion economy, one fact stands out clearly.
Even though Telangana’s USD 200 billion GSDP and 37% investment rate generate USD 70–75 billion annually, the state faces an investment gap of USD 30 billion, and this gap is growing rapidly, he said.
To bridge this gap, PPPs will act as the engine for developing the CURE (Core Urban), PURE (Peri-Urban), and RARE (Rural Agri) zones, Bhatti Vikramarka said.
He explained that PPPs open the door for private investment in metros, solar parks, and skill hubs while allowing the government to channel public funds toward human development and net-zero goals.
He emphasised that Hyderabad is a paradise for investors, and hospitality is the ethos of Telangana.
The state offers a highly conducive investment climate, cost-effective and skilled labour, strong law and order, and an investor-friendly government, the Deputy Chief Minister said.
The government treats investors as members of its own family, he said, inviting them to invest heavily in the state and join hands in building a stronger future.
Speaking about the importance of PPPs, the Deputy Chief Minister said he wished to begin with a story close to everyone’s heart. The ORR project proved that PPPs can transform bold dreams into visible success stories, Bhatti Vikramarka said.
The Deputy Chief Minister said the Telangana will further strengthen its PPP model through high-quality preparation, transparent contracts, and realistic risk sharing. Used strategically, PPPs will play a pivotal role in transforming Telangana’s development goals into tangible infrastructure and social outcomes, Bhatti Vikramarka said with confidence.
