Hyderabad, Aug.30 (NSS): BRS party leader RS Praveen Kumar has lashed out at Chief Minister Revanth Reddy over his policies. He said Hydra should do the same justice to all and added that the environment has to be protected but there should be equal justice for the poor and the rich. Hydra is taking immediate action against the poor.
On the demolition of illegal houses in the Blind Colony of Mahbubnagar, he said he saw a girl in uniform was looking for her books in the ruins of the house. “I was crying when I saw this scene. How is the CM sleeping,” Praveen Kumar asked. He said the authorities demolished the Blind Colony with 400 policemen. “Why don’t the same policemen go to CM’s brother Tirupati Reddy’s house and look for it,” he asked. He also alleged that Revanth’s rule was running like a vindictive regime against the poor people.
Praveen Kumar alleged that gurukuls in Telangana State were deactivated during the Congress rule. “There has been no minister for education in the State for the last nine months. Has the CM, who is the education minister, ever held a review,” he asked. He criticized the CM for not having the minimum understanding of the education department. He said the number of students in government schools was on the decline.
“The students don’t have uniforms, there is a chill, there are no woollen rugs and there are no shoes. Congress rule is not people’s rule,” he criticized. He alleged that many college managements were not issuing memos because the students were not paying fees. “The students were suffering because the Congress government has not paid the fee reimbursement dues. The KCR government has set up a Centre of Excellence to ensure that poor students in the gurukuls can get MBBS and IITs. But, now a conspiracy is being hatched to remove them,” he alleged.
Praveen Kumar alleged that the Centre of Excellence had not been paying salaries to the guest faculty for the past four months and added that the government was conspiring to make them quit their jobs. He demanded that salaries should be paid to the guest faculty of the gurukul colleges immediately. He also demanded that the salaries of teachers in sports schools should also be paid.
