Hyderabad, Nov.26 (NSS): Premier Energies Limited, a leading solar cell and module manufacturer, successfully hosted a Blood Donation Camp at its factory premises on Tuesday.
Organized in partnership with Rotary Club of Hyderabad Deccan and Rotary Club of Lake District Moinabad, and facilitated by Rotary Challa Blood Centre, the camp highlighted the noble act of blood donation as a life-saving gesture. The camp was held from 9 am to 1.30 pm. Some 200 employees of Premier Energies, including Chiranjeev Saluja, Managing Director and CEO, and Surender Pal Singh, Chairman of Premier Energies Limited attended. Chiranjeev Saluja, who also serves as the President of Rotary Club of Lake District Moinabad, and Dimple Agarwal, Secretary of the same club, were instrumental in driving the initiative. Each donor contributed 350 ml of blood, collectively ensuring life-saving support for patients in need.
Uday Pilani, Founder of Rotary Club of Lake District Moinabad spoke on the occasion. The Rotary Challa Blood Centre ensured a seamless donation process using advanced screening technologies like Gel Technology and CLIA to guarantee the highest quality of blood. Donors were also provided donor cards, redeemable for a free unit of blood if needed in the future. The Centre’s commitment to providing 33% of collected blood free of cost to government hospitals further amplifies the impact of this initiative.
