Hyderabad, Nov.21 (NSS): Union Minister Kishan Reddy today said President of India Draupadi Murmu would inaugurate the four-day long Lok Manthan Bhagyanagar 2024 event in the State capital on Friday.
He said RSS’ Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwath would also participate for three days and will guide the participants on the family system, its importance, social harmony, swadeshi and other issues. The Lok Manthan Bhagyanagar 2024 exhibition event began on Thursday.
Speaking on the occasion, Union Minister Kishan Reddy urged people not to use plastic items. He called upon the people to come for the Lok Manthan event. “This event will go beyond politics. It is a programme of Indian culture and a programme that will benefit the country,” he said. The media has also been asked to cooperate and cover the four-day event by Reddy. He wished that the Lok Manthan event should be a grand success.
“The Lok Manthan event will be attended by eminent artists, intellectuals, artistes, thinkers and Padma awardees from across the country. While the exhibition will be held at Shilparamam, Manthan will be held at Shilpakala vedika. Around 2,500 delegates will participate in the Manthan event. Union Ministers Nirmala Sitharaman and Gajendra Singh Shekhawat will also attend the valedictory function of the event,” Kishan Reddy said.
