
Hyderabad, Feb.16 (RAHNUMA): Telangana Media Academy Secretary Nagulapalli Venkateswara Rao today said that one-day training classes were being organized on land rights, agriculture, rural development and environmental reporting for working journalists. He also said that this training program was being organized on the 18th of this month from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm at the Telangana Media Academy Auditorium in Nampally. “In this training program, experts will explain land laws- resolution of land issues, government schemes in agriculture- allied sectors, bank loans, environmental safety, conservation of ponds, code of ethics for journalists, media-laws, digital reporting, agriculture, farmer issues, rural areas, revenue issues and environmental and technical issues in reporting through PowerPoint presentations,” he said.
The Secretary stated that in the context of the rapid transformation of the media sector and added that there was a need for journalists to be aware of new technologies and provide impartial and responsible information to the society. He said that this training would provide the journalists with an opportunity to further enhance their professional skills.
