Warangal, Nov.16 (NSS): Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee ( TPCC) President Mahesh Kumar Goud has accused the previous BRS government of not being able to fulfill the aspirations of the Telangana people during the last ten years.
“There has been no development in Telangana for ten years. Only robbery was taken place. But, the current government is providing the better governance to the people than the previous government,” he said
Speaking to the media at Hanumakonda on Saturday, the TPCC President alleged that the BRS party had completely failed in acting as an opposition party and BRS working president KT Rama Rao was speaking with impatience that he has lost power.
“The Congress government has provided more jobs in a year than the previous BRS government provided in ten years. Now, the entire country is looking at Telangana as it is implementing innovative schemes. The people from other States are asking for Telangana-like schemes in their respective States,” Mahesh Kumar Goud asserted.
Stating that Telangana is standing as a role model for the entire country with the caste census, the TPCC chief dared the BRS leaders for a debate on welfare and development programmes.
He urged the party workers to organise the Praja Vijayotsavam meetings on the grand scale across the Telangana State and make them a grand success to mark the completion of Congress party’s one-year governance in Telangana.
