
Hyderabad, Sept.11 (NSS): Hyderabad chapter of Quality Circle Forum of India (QCFI) is celebrating its 38th Annual convention in Hotel Marigold, Begumpet here wherein some 225 teams comprising 1200 employees are presenting their improvement projects of their respective organization.
The convention was inaugurated by IT & Industries Minister D Sridhar Babu. In his inaugural address, he congratulated all the Award winners & participants. He has sensitized employees and industry representatives about Artificial Intelligence and its impact. He stressed on the need to focus on innovative endeavour for “Make in Telangana”. By focusing on Quality & AI, India can be No. 1 in the world. We should all adhere to the Quality standards of State, National & International level, he added.
Chairman of the Hyderabad Chapter Ch Balakrishna Rao explained that the mission of the forum is to develop employees of member organizations to realize their full potential through Group activities, Quality Circles, 5s, & Kaizen, He said the main objective of QCFI is to unleash creative potential of employees and he said if Government gives an opportunity the forum will be able to address skill deficiency in graduates. For this we have designed a three-day training module with title “campus to corporate”.
The Minister has given awards for the organization supporting QC movement to ECIL, NMDC, TGSRTC, Thermopads, Thermo Cables, Usha International, Tata group, Renuka Plastics, Toshiba, The Ramco & KCP cements, HAL, Midhani, BEL. Honorary Secretary Dayanand Reddy also spoke.
