Hyderabad, Dec.13 (RAHNUMA): Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi arrived in Hyderabad on Saturday evening and received a warm welcome from Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, TPCC President Mahesh Kumar Goud, and several state ministers at Shamshabad airport.
During his journey to Falaknuma Palace, the CM and TPCC chief briefed Rahul Gandhi on the state’s political situation, highlighting Congress victories in the Jubilee Hills by-election and the first phase of Gram Panchayat polls. Rahul Gandhi reportedly expressed satisfaction over the government’s performance and party’s organisational strength in Telangana.
Rahul Gandhi alongwith Revanth Reddy and others went to Falaknuma palace to meet legend footballer Lionel Messi who is in the city to play at the Rajiv Gandhi International stadium.
