Hyderabad, Aug.8 (NSS): The Chairman and MD of Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) N. Balaram today said that the last date of application of Rajiv Gandhi Civils Abhaya Hastam scheme undertaken by their company as a social responsibility had been extended till the 12th of this month.
In a statement, he said that the main purpose of the scheme was to provide Rs.1 lakh financial assistance on behalf of the Singareni if the youth from Telangana state pass the Civils Prelims exam . “It is known that this scheme was launched on the 20th of the last month from the hands of the Chief Minister of the State A. Revanth Reddy and Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu.
The deadline for applying in this scheme was 6th of this month. But as per the requests received from the candidates to extend the deadline, it has been extended to the 12th of this month,” he said. Eligible candidates are advised to visit Singareni website scclmines.com and apply by the CMD.
