Hyderabad, Oct.10 (NSS): Renowned business woman and artiste Dr G. Anuhya Reddy expressed grief over the death of Ratan Naval Tata (86), the industrial tycoon, who fulfilled the dreams of the poor. She expressed her grief over the death of a great person like Ratan Tata, who established many companies in the country and abroad and provided livelihood to the poor and weaker sections. She demanded that the Union government confer the highest civilian award of the country ‘Bharat Ratna’ on Ratan Tata, who left his mark in the industrial sector for a long time and stood on the side of the poor and is a role model for many today.
Tata was hailed as a humanitarian, who gave 65% of his wealth to the poor. She said Ratan Tata did not marry as he was worried that he would be distracted from his cherished ambitions. Anuhya Reddy said Ratan Tata was a role model for the present as well as future generations.
