Hyderabad, Sept.26 (NSS): The Revanth Reddy government is putting an iron foot in the name of ‘Hydra’ against illegal constructions built on tanks and nalas in the State. As part of this, it has already demolished several buildings in Hyderabad and on the outskirts of the city.
Meanwhile, the Revenue officials have detected an illegal construction in Qutub Shahipet village under Malkapuram gram panchayat of Kondapur mandal in Sangareddy district. Action has been taken on the construction of a four-storey building in the local pond. As part of this, the building was demolished with bombs. The ruins of the building were blown away.
According to the locals, the building was constructed by a man from Hyderabad city within the limits of Malkapuram Peddacheruvu some time back. The authorities also claimed that a route was also constructed to get into the building.
The villagers explained that the encroachers came from Hyderabad city. A home guard Gopal, who was standing nearby was hit by a stone after the blast. Gopal collapsed suddenly. The authorities immediately rushed him to the hospital as he was bleeding profusely from his head. Gopal’s condition is said to be stable. He said he was being given first aid.
