Hyderabad, Feb.11 (RAHNUMA): Jubilee Hills Police, in coordination with the Hyderabad City Task Force, have arrested two accused involved in a pre-planned high-value robbery at a residence in Nandagiri Hills, Jubilee Hills. The police recovered stolen gold and diamond jewellery worth Rs.1.3 crore.
According to the police, the theft took place on February 5, 2026, allegedly orchestrated by absconding mastermind Jiban Chand. The house owner and family members were reportedly away at the time of the incident.
Acting swiftly, police tracked the suspects — Bhupender Shahi alias Bhuvan (22) and Krishna Chand (23) — and intercepted them at the Indo-Nepal border. The stolen property was recovered during the operation.
Both the accused have reportedly confessed to their involvement and were remanded to judicial custody on Wednesday. Police stated that efforts are underway to arrest other absconding suspects and recover additional stolen items.
