Author: ARAB NEWSThu, 2017-03-16ID: 1489654576890970400JEDDAH: RTJ Transient House became the first to string three Team of the Week honors with another strong performance during the fifth session in the OFBC Friday Afternoon Bowling League Season 6 at Iceland Bowling Center here.RTJ hammered out an 18-2 victory over Al-Tayyer United Contracting Co. on total pinfalls of 2,196 and 2,073 and finished the session on 28 points including 10 rank points.Toshi and Arci-5 posted decisive victories to tie on 25 points while the previous week honoree, Nilobabes, had 24 on the day.Toshi crushed The Expandabowls 18-2 on total pitfalls of 2,072-1,923 while Arci-5 also had it easy over Saudi German Hospital 16-4 (2,092-2,019).Nilobabes was the third team to win by 18-2, against Youngsters and in the process produced the ladies Bowler of the Week in Susan Patayan who rolled the high series of 560 in her division. While Nilobabes looked impressive on the day its total pinfalls of 2,070 was worth only 6 points to deny the team a potential back-to-back honors, a feat achieved by RTJ during the first two weeks of this four-man team league event organized by Overseas Filipino Bowlers Club.In the other match, Velocity Strikers brought down Shadow Bowlers 16-4 (1,945-1,857). The result game Velocity 20 points for the fifth week.Conrad Baltazar shot a three-game series with handicap of 588 at the helm of RTJ. Benj Espinosa, Malou Nidoy and Ed Cordova backed up Baltazar on 549, 532 and 527.Cesar Sacramed crossed the 600-series at 601 while leading the Toshi charge that also netted 570 from Rico Bulalayao, 518 from Vivian Scrammed and 383 from Ryan Liwagon.Sergio Modar fired a men’s Bowler of the Week award-winning series of 635 on lines of 208, 193 and 162 as the main man at Arci-5, which also drew 527 from Delia Javing, 491 from Ramon Fabro and 439 from Eli Arciaga.Besides Susan the other scorers at Nilobabes were Nap Patayan 589, Babes Yushimine 461 and Sharmaine Patayan 460.The duo of RJ Valenzuela and Vangie Lim hit 526 and 511 to spearhead Velocity’s five-man rotation that included Ryan Tasic 469, Toto Lim 290 and Jayme “Paco” Flores 169.Team standings after the fifth week:RTJ Transient House 134.0 points 2.
