Seoul, March 28 (QNA) – The South Korean military says it is preparing for a possible intercontinental ballistic missile(ICBM) launch in North Korea.The Joint Chiefs of Staff’s press chief Roh Jae-chun on Tuesday addressed CNN’s latest report that the North carried out more ICBM engine tests than the much-publicized exercise on March 19th, South Korean (KBS) World Radio News reported. The JCS official said that the North is continuously carrying out activities aimed at advancing its missile capability, and that the media report came along such lines.

Citing Pentagon officials, CNN reported that the North recently conducted three ballistic missile engine tests over the last few weeks.The North’s missile engine tests are detected by U.S. military satellites spotting the soot left behind at the test sites. (QNA)
