Hyderabad, Oct.14 (NSS): J. Geetha Reddy, Congress leader, former minister, three times MLA and TPCC working president will be honoured with the Sadbhvana Award on the occasion of 34th Rajiv Gandhi Sadbhvana Yatra Commemoration Day at Charminar on October 19.
Rajiv Gandhi, former Prime Minister and former Congress president hoisted the Congress Party Flag and started his Sadbhvana Yatra in the twin cities from historic Charminar on October 19, 1990. The Rajiv Gandhi Sadbhvana yatra Commemoration Committee had been observing this day as “Rajiv Gandhi Sadbhvana Yatra Commemoration day “for the last 34 years and organizing a program at Charminar every year and honouring an eminent personality with Sadbhvana Award.
The panel consisting of B. Kamalakar Rao, former MLC and A. Shyam Mohan, Chairman, TPCC Intellectual cell, selected the name of J. Geeta Reddy for honouring with Sadbhvana Award this Year.
- Mahesh Kumar Goud, MLC & TPCC president will hoist the Congress Party Flag (where Rajiv hoisted the Party Flag in the year 1990). A. Revanth Reddy, Chief Minister, Bhatti Vikramarka, Deputy Chief Minister, Deepadas Munshi, AICC Incharge will be the chief guests. N. Uttamkumar Reddy, Minister for Civil supplies and irrigation will preside.
Ministers Damodar Rajanarsimha, D. Sridharbabu, Seethakka, AICC Secretaries Vishnunadh MLA, Vishwanathan, V. Hanumanth Rao, Ex-MP and other prominent leaders will participate.
Earlier Sadbhavana Awards were presented to K.
