Hyderabad, Feb.8 (RAHNUMA): Telangana High Court Judge Madhavi Devi on Sunday stated that the Saptashakti Sangam was immensely useful in awakening the seven inherent powers within women. She expressed her delight that Saptashakti Sangams were being conducted across Telangana through Sri Saraswati Vidyapeetham to empower women. She added that awakening such powers in women was possible only through Sri Saraswati Shishu Mandirs. The concluding program of the Saptashakti Sangam, organized by Sri Saraswati Vidyapeetham, was held at the Keshav Memorial Patel Hall in Narayanaguda. Justice Madhavi Devi attended the program as the chief guest.

Speaking on the occasion, she said that the women should strive to become completely empowered and added that inner beauty was as important as outer beauty. She stated that the Indian culture and the Indian family system help in shaping themselves into better individuals and added that this blossoms further through the elders in the family. She reminded everyone that the health and well-being of the entire family depend on the women and added that the kitchen at home was the true health center.

She observed that in today’s modern times, both men and women have to work but emphasized that a job was not everything and added society and family were equally important.

She called upon the women, who constitute half of the country’s population, to contribute to nation-building and to ensure that whatever work they do was for the benefit of the country. She stressed that the women play a crucial role in creating an environment, where all family members work for the nation and society. She said that both men and women should become enlightened and think alike, only then would society function smoothly. She called upon the women to think independently and grow into strong decision-makers by stating that there were ample opportunities for the women in society.

She praised the women by saying that whichever field they excel in, that field flourishes wonderfully and added they leave their unique mark on it by highlighting the immense power of the women. She urged the women to play their part in creating a magnificent India.

She also mentioned that she herself was an alumna of Saraswati Shishu Mandir. She expressed her delight that many women had become enlightened through the Saptashakti Sangam organized by the educational institution and were developing into good Indian women.

The chief speaker, Sripada Radha, the regional secretary of Rashtriya Sevika Samiti spoke about connecting the integral humanism philosophy proposed by Deendayal Upadhyaya with women’s power. They praised the educational institution for creating history by organizing Saptashakti Sangams across the state. She said that individual development and happiness were possible only through Indian thought. She mentioned that Deendayal Upadhyaya suggested that true happiness for an individual was achieved only through Dharma (righteousness).
