RIYADH, 16 August: Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan received a phone call from his Dutch counterpart Caspar Veldkamp on Thursday.
During the call, the two ministers discussed the crisis in the Gaza Strip and the latest efforts to end the war in the territory and reduce escalation in the region.
A new round of Gaza ceasefire talks is underway in the Qatari capital Doha, with Israel’s spy chief joining his US and Egyptian counterparts and Qatar’s prime minister for the closed-door meeting on Thursday.
Prince Faisal and Veldkamp also reviewed relations and cooperation between their countries.
