MAKKAH, 4 August: Saudi Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance Dr. Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al-Sheikh chaired the 14th executive council meeting of the Conference of Endowments and Islamic Affairs in the Islamic World in Makkah on Saturday.
Attendees unanimously approved the agenda for the three-day 9th Conference of Ministers of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs in the countries of the Islamic world, which runs until Aug. 5, Saudi Press Agency reported.
The conference title is: “The role of the Ministries of Islamic Affairs and Awqaf in promoting the principles of moderation and consolidating the values of moderation.”
The council also accepted an invitation to hold its 15th meeting in Morocco.
