Hyderabad, June 20 (NSS): A minor incident of fire on a stabled pantry car coach took place at Secunderabad Coaching depot washing line at around 10.30 hrs on Thursday. Coach maintenance staff observed smoke emanating from the coach and informed immediately to the official about the incident. Simultaneously information was given to State Government fire officials.
Railway staff at the station rushed to the spot to control the fire with the help of available fire fighting equipment. Simultaneously, the affected isolated from other coaches as precautionary security measure and the situation was brought to control by 11.30 am. He reviewed the situation prevailing due to the incident of fire and instructed the divisional officials to take necessary action to prevent such incidents in future. Bhartesh Kumar Jain, Divisional Railway Manger, Secunderabad division, apprised the General Manger on the incident. (NSS)
