Hyderabad, Nov.19 (NSS): In order to clear extra rush of Sabarimala pilgrims, SCR to run 18 Sabarimala special trains between various destinations. Train No. 07143 Moula Ali-Kollam Special will leave Moula Ali at 11.30 p.m. on December 6, 13, 20 and 27 and reach Kollam at 19 pm, the next day (eight services). In the return direction, Train No. 07144 Kollam–Moula Ali Special will leave Kollam at 2.30 a.m. on December 8, 15, 22 and 29 (Sundays) and reach Moula Ali at 10 am the next day (eight services).
These special trains will stop at Cherlapalli, Bhongir, Jangaon, Kazipet, Warangal, Mahbubabad, Dornakal, Khammam, Vijayawada, Tenali, Bapatla, Chirala, Ongole, Nellore, Gudur, Renigunta, Katpadi, Jolarpettai, Salem, Erode, Tiruppur, Coimbatore, Palakkad, Thrisur, Aluva, Ernakulam Town, Ettumanur, Kottayam, Chenganacheri, Tiruvalla, Chengannur and Kayankulam stations in both the directions.
Another special train (Train No. 07145) Machilipatnam-Kollam Special will leave Machilipatnam at 15.15 a.m. on December 2, 9, and 16 (Mondays) and reach Kollam at 21.20 pm, the next day (six services). In the return direction, Train No. 07146 Kollam–Machilipatnam special will leave Kollam at 2.30 a.m. on December 4, 11 and 18 (Wednesdays) and reach Machilipatnam at 7 am, the next day (six services).
These Special trains will stop at Pedana, Gudivada, Vijayawada, New Guntur, Tenali, Bapatla, Chirala, Ongole, Singarayakonda, Kavali, Nellore, Gudur, Renigunta, Katpadi, Jolarpettai, Salem, Erode, Tiruppur, Coimbatore, Palakkad, Thrisur, Aluva, Ernakulam Town, Ettumanur, Kottayam, Chenganacheri, Tiruvalla, Chengannur and Kayankulam stations in both the directions.
Another Sabarimala special train Machilipatnam–Kollam Special (Train No. 07147) will leave Machilipatnam at 12.00 noon on December 23 and 30 (Tuesdays) and reach Kollam at 21.20 p.m., the next day (4 services). In the return direction, Train No. 07148 Kollam–Machilipatnam Special will leave Kollam at 2.30 a.m. on December 25 (Wednesday) and reach Machilipatnam at 12.00 noon, the next day (4 services). These Special trains will stop at Pedana, Gudivada, Vijayawada, Guntur, Narsaraopet, Vinukonda, Donakonda, Markapur Rd, Cumbum, Giddalur, Nandyal, Yerraguntla, Kadapa, Razampet, Renigunta, Katpadi, Jolarpettai, Salem, Erode, Tiruppur, Coimbatore, Palakkad, Thrisur, Aluva, Ernakulam Town, Ettumanur, Kottayam, Chenganacheri, Tiruvalla, Chengannur and Kayankulam stations in both the directions.
These special trains consist of First AC, 2AC, 3AC, Sleeper Class and General Second Class Coaches. Advance Bookings for the following special trains will commence at 08.00 hrs on November 20, 2024. Train no. 07143 Moula Ali – Kollam Special train; 07145 Machilipatnam–Kollam Special train and 07147 Machilipatnam – Kollam Special train.
