Vijayawada, Nov.26 (NSS): Vijayawada Division of South Central Railway observed Constitutional Day with great fervor and enthusiasm. The event was held today at Vijayawada Divisional Headquarters.
To commemorate the adoption of the Constitution, Narendra A. Patil, Divisional Railway Manager, Vijayawada Division, South Central Railway, read out the Preamble of the Constitution at the DRM Office along with the Officers and Staff of the Division. The staff and officers pledged to uphold the principles of the Constitution and work towards the betterment of the organization and the Nation.
Narendra A Patil also emphasized the importance of the Constitution and its relevance in our daily lives. He urged the railway staff to rededicate themselves to uphold the values enshrined in the Constitution. On similar lines, Constitutional Pledge was administered at all the Offices and Depots across Vijayawada Division.
