Tirumala, Oct.6 (NSS): The third day witnessed Sri Malayappa as Yoga Narasimha in the ferocious Simha Vahana on Sunday morning. Marching ahead the four mada streets, Sri Yoga Narasimha seated majestically in a meditative pose representing inner peace and tranquillity. A total of 530 artistes belonging to 20 troupes performed various art forms in front of Simha Vahanam.
The various mythological costumes by the Bharatanatyam students of the TTD-run Sri Venkateswara Sangeet Nritya Kalasala in Tirupati, Mohiniattam by Tamilnadu artistes were impressive. The Narasimha Namanam art show performed by the Bengaluru-based Divyasree troupe brought to life the Narasimha avatar of the Bhagavata. While the Punjabi folk art form, Jumar was mesmerizing by a large group of artists and Madhya Pradesh folk art form Chelia have allured the devotees.
TTD EO J Syamala Rao, Additional EO Ch Venkaiah Chowdary, JEOs Goutami, Veerabrahmam, CVSO Sridhar and others were present.
