Hyderabad, Feb.28 (RAHNUMA): A day after assuming charge as Chairman and Managing Director of Southern Telangana Electricity Distribution Company (SPDCL), Jitesh V Patil conducted a field visit under the ‘Praja Baata’ programme in Motinagar, under Banjara Hills Circle.
As part of the public outreach initiative, Patil inspected the electricity network, interacted with officials, staff and local residents, and inquired about power-related grievances. He also inaugurated a newly installed Pole Mounted Distribution Transformer (DTR) in the area.
Highlighting the India Meteorological Department’s warning of rising summer temperatures, the CMD said electricity consumption is expected to increase significantly. He assured that SPDCL has made necessary arrangements to ensure uninterrupted and quality power supply during peak summer.
Company Director Dr. Narasimhulu, V. Shivaji, Banjara Hills Superintending Engineer Narasimhulu and other officials accompanied him during the visit.
