Hyderabad, Nov.23 (RAHNUMA): Under the directives of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and In-charge Minister Ponnam Prabhakar, Greater Hyderabad Deputy Mayor Mothe Srilatha Shoban Reddy is taking proactive steps with special focus on resolving road infrastructure issues, traffic congestion and other public concerns within GHMC limits.
The Deputy Mayor instructed the concerned GHMC officials to prioritise road development works across all divisions, and to take immediate action on damaged roads causing traffic bottlenecks, drainage problems, non-functional streetlights and other civic requirements.
She emphasised that public grievances must be treated with utmost priority, ensuring quick response and timely completion of all pending works. Srilatha further appealed for coordinated efforts between citizens, public representatives and administrative machinery to expedite the city’s development initiatives.
The Deputy Mayor stated that the government is committed to transforming Hyderabad into a traffic-free and problem-free modern metro city, and strengthening GHMC’s functioning is a key part of this mission.
