
Hyderabad, Aug.8 (NSS): Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka has directed the officials of Sothern Power Distribution Company of Telangana ( TSSPDCL) to take adequate measures for the supply of quality power to the people residing under the jurisdiction of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC).
The Deputy Chief Minister said that keeping the monsoon season in mind, he had alerted the authorities to take all precautionary measures while supplying power.
Bhatti Vikramarka, who held a meeting with officials here on Thursday, said that all should work together keeping in mind the global image of Hyderabad and care should be taken while discharging duties.
The Deputy Chief Minister, who is also holding the portfolio of Energy department, has informed that the department has also issued orders on internal transfers and promotions in the SPDCL.
“If there is any problem in power supply, the people can complain to the toll free number 1912. Don’t forget that SPDCL is constantly working for the people,” Bhatti said.
Responding to the incident that the collapsing of retaining wall at Sunkishala project, the Deputy Chief Minister clarified that the construction of Sunkishala was done during the reign of BRS government and the wall was collapsed due to a design flaw.
“The BRS leaders are trying to impose the sins of the previous government on the current Congress government. Unable to bear their sins, people already tought a fitting lesson to the BRS party in the recent elections,” Bhatti added.
