Survey should be carried out with accuracy: Dana Kishore

Hyderabad, Nov.1 (NSS): Principal Secretary of Municipal Administration & Urban Development M Dana Kishore today said a comprehensive survey of social, economic, educational, employment, political and castes should be carried out with 100 per cent accuracy.

A training programme was conducted for supervisors and enumerators on the comprehensive house-to-house household survey to be carried out in Khairatabad zone at Gaurishankar Community Hall in Banjara Hills on Friday. The principal secretary of the State’s municipal & urban development department was the chief guest at the training programme.

Speaking on the occasion, Dana Kishore said the survey, which will begin from November 6, should carefully record the socio-economic conditions of different sections of people without any mistakes. He said some 21,000 enumerators were  being used to carry out the survey in the Greater Hyderabad limits and added that RPs had  also been included in the survey while noting that a supervisor has been appointed for every 10 enumerators to carry out the survey in a phased manner.

“If you have any doubts, you should contact your supervisors and clear them. Through the comprehensive survey, government schemes will reach out to the poorest of the poor,” he said. He instructed the municipal officials to ensure that every enumerator practices with xerox survey documents before carrying out a survey at the field level so that they can get a complete understanding.

Additional Commissioner (Lakes) K Sivakumar Naidu, Zonal Commissioner Anurag Jayanthi and others were present.
