Hyderabad, Nov.7 (NSS): Acting on a tip-off, sleuths of Commissioner’s Task Force, West Zone, raided two illegal gaming houses under the limits of Jubilee Hills and Film Nagar Police Stations. Thirteen respondents, including two organizers, were apprehended. They are: Yennapusula Malla Reddy, aged 35 years, of Madhura Nagar, Hyderabad and Gaming House at Film Nagar PS; Mohammed Nayeemuddin, aged 63 years, of Yousufguda, Hyderabad and Gaming House at Jubilee Hills PS.
The West Zone Task Force raided two premises at midnight hours operating illegal gaming houses and apprehended a total of 13 respondents. During the raids, seized playing cards and cash amounting to ₹1,33,990/-. The seized items and the respondents have been handed over to the respective local police stations. Previously, the respondent Yennapusula Malla Reddy (organiser) was apprehended in illegal gaming act on July 8, 2024 under the limits of PS Jubilee Hills.
The searches were conducted under the supervision of E. Jangaiah, Inspector, SI G. Naveen & Team West Zone, Commissioner’s Task Force, Hyderabad.
