Hyderabad, Dec.10 (NSS): It is known that the Telangana Thalli’s statue was unveiled by the State government on Monday. Former minister Jagadish Reddy reacted on the issue. As part of this, he said the culture and traditions of Telangana were going to be in danger once again and added that people’s victory celebrations were held with film songs by the State government. “However, we are not against the film songs, but we are only asking the State government as to why it held the celebrations without Telangana culture and traditions,” he said. He made key comments that Telangana culture and traditions were trampled on in the film songs.
He said the Congress party had built the mother of the party irrespective of the culture of Telangana and claimed that none of the chief ministers or ministers had said ‘Jai Telangana’ at the people’s victory celebrations. He asked the Telangana intellectuals to not join hands with the Telangana traitors. “During our tenure, we remembered Kaloji, Bandi Yadagiri, Chakali Ayilamma, Komaram Bheem Bandagi and Jayashankar,” he said.
He alleged that the State was being run by the stooges of the united State votaries and asked people of the State to be beware of such leaders.
