
Hyderabad, Jan.6 (RAHNUMA): A 68-member youth contingent from Telangana will participate in the 29th National Youth Festival (NYF) 2026, to be held from January 9 to 12 in New Delhi, showcasing the state’s talent and ideas on nation-building.
Ahead of the festival, “My Bharat Telangana”, in collaboration with the Department of Youth Services, Government of Telangana, organised a send-off programme at Lok Bhavan (Raj Bhavan) on Tuesday to felicitate and motivate the selected delegates.
Of the total delegates, 45 youths were selected under the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue (VBYLD) 2026 Track, while 23 will represent Telangana in the Cultural Track. The delegates will join over 3,000 youths from across the country and present innovative ideas on “Viksit Bharat @2047” before Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The concluding event of the festival will be held on January 12 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi.
Addressing the gathering, Governor of Telangana Jishnu Dev Varma interacted with the youth and encouraged them to confidently present their vision and ideas for nation-building at the national platform.
Dr. A. Sonibala Devi, Vice-Chairman and Managing Director, SATG, and Commissioner of Youth Services (I/c), briefed the delegates on the objectives and significance of “VBYLD 2026”.
The programme was attended by K. Venugopal Rao, MD, SETWIN; G. Rajesh, Assistant Director, My Bharat; Khushbu Gupta, District Youth Officer, Hyderabad; T. Isaiah, District Youth Officer, Rangareddy; and other officials.
