
Hyderabad, Sept.21 (NSS): Following the row over the alleged use of animal fat in ‘prasadam’ laddus offered at the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams ( TTD) in Andhra Pradesh, the Telangana Vijaya dairy has expressed its readiness to supply milk products to the TTD.
In a release here on Saturday, Sabhyasachi Ghosh, Principal Secretary of the Telangana Animal Husbandry department, announced that Vijaya Dairy (TGDDFCL) is prepared to provide pure and quality products for offerings at the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD).
In a letter addressed to TTD Executive Officer J. Shyamala Rao, he has communicated the State government’s endorsement of this initiative.
The letter highlighted the esteemed reputation of Vijaya Dairy in the milk and dairy sector across the country, noting its history of delivering valuable, high-quality products to consumers.
Ghosh emphasised that by ensuring the quality of its products, Vijaya dairy supports the livelihoods of millions of dairy farmers.
He confirmed that Vijaya Dairy is equipped to meet all the needs for high-quality butter and other dairy products for the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams. As a government entity, Vijaya Dairy guarantees complete transparency in supply cleanliness, quality, and pricing.
Sabhyasachi Ghosh urged the TTD Executive Officer to provide the opportunity for the dairy to serve both the temple and its devotees.
