Hyderabad, June 20 (NSS): The Committee members of Golconda, Secunderabad and Lal Darwaza temples called on Chief Minister Revanth Reddy at his residence here on Thursday, extending an invitation to him for the Bonalu festivities.
On the occasion, the temple priests have recited Vedic hymns and blessed Chief Minister Revanth Reddy.
The Ashadam Bonalu festivities will begin at Jagadambhika temple in Golconda on July 7 and it will be held for a month. Later, the Lashkar Bonalu will be held at Ujjaini Mahankali temple in Secunderabad followed by the old city Bonalu, which will be held at Sri Simhavahini Mahankali temple in Lal Darwaza and at Sri Akkanna Madanna Mahankali temple in Haribowli.
During the festivities, the first bonam is offered at Jagadambhika Ammavari temple, the second bonam is offered at Renuka Ellamma temple at Balkampet and the third bonam will be offered at Ujjain Mahankali temple in Secunderabad. (NSS)
