Hyderabad, May 21 (INN): The Telangana government has appointed IAS officers as in-charge Vice Chancellors (VCs) for ten universities, following the end of the tenure of the previous VCs today. The BRS government had originally appointed VCs for these universities on May 22, 2021.
The newly appointed in-charge IAS officers for the respective universities are as follows: Osmania University – Dana Kishore; JNTU – Burra Venkatesham; Kakatiya University – Vakati Karuna; BR Ambedkar Open University – Rizvi; Telangana University – Sandeep Sultania; Telugu University – Dr Shailaja Ramaiyer; Mahatma Gandhi University – Navin Mittal; Satavahana University – Surendra Mohan; Jawaharlal Nehru Architecture and Fine Arts University – Jayesh Ranjan and Palamuru University – Nadeem Ahmed.
These appointments have been made to ensure the smooth functioning of the universities until new VCs are appointed. (INN)
