
Hyderabad, July 2 (NSS): The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) management has expressed gratitude to the State government for recognizing the importance of the public transport system and allowing it to fill up 3035 posts in the organization. “We would like to thank Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka and Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar for taking the initiative,” the management of the corporation said in a statement.
It also said there had been no direct recruitment in the organisation since 2012 and added that the recruitment process would take place after a gap of almost 12 years. It said that The government’s latest approval for 3,035 posts would go a long way in strengthening the organisation. “It will also help in providing faster services to the people and help in implementing the Mahalaxmi scheme more effectively.
TGSRTC management will take steps to complete the recruitment process for these posts expeditiously as per the directions of the State government,” it said. (NSS)
