
Hyderabad, Feb.11 (RAHNUMA): To facilitate devotees during the upcoming Maha Shivaratri festival, the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) will run 2,243 special buses to 43 major Shaiva pilgrimage centres across the state.
Special services will operate from February 14 to 16, with a major focus on high-demand destinations. The corporation will deploy 781 buses to Srisailam, 416 to Vemulawada, 249 to Edupayala, 326 to Keesaragutta, and 71 to Kaleshwaram. Additional services will cover prominent temples such as Komuravelli, Alampur, Umamaheshwaram, Palakurthi and Ramappa.
Officials said revised fares – up to 1.5 times the regular charges – will apply only to special services, while regular services will continue at normal fares. Free travel for women under the state government scheme will remain applicable.
