The “Whale of the Sky” lands at RGIA

Hyderabad, Aug.30 (NSS): Rajiv Gandhi International Airport welcomed the Airbus Beluga, known as the “Whale of the Sky,” in the early hours around 12:17 am. The impressive aircraft made a stunning appearance against the night sky for refuelling and crew rest.

Departing from Muscat International Airport, the Airbus A300-608ST Beluga landed at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA). It is scheduled to depart for Thailand at 3:00 p.m. This visit marks the Beluga’s third landing in Hyderabad, following previous visits in December 2022 and August 2023, demonstrating the strategic importance of RGIA in the global aviation network.
