Think before casting vote, KTR tells voters in MLC by-election

Hyderabad,  20th May 2024 :K.T. Rama Rao (KTR), a prominent leader from the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) and the son of Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao, has urged voters to think carefully before casting their votes in the upcoming MLC by-election for the Warangal-Khammam-Nalgonda Graduates’ constituency. This election is scheduled for May 27, 2024.

In his appeal, KTR emphasized the importance of electing candidates who are committed to addressing the needs and concerns of the constituents. He highlighted the significance of informed voting, urging voters to consider the track records and capabilities of the candidates. KTR’s message comes in the wake of the TRS’s efforts to maintain its influence and ensure that the elected representatives align with the party’s development agenda for Telangana.

This by-election is particularly critical as it tests the political strategies of various parties in the state, including the TRS, which has been striving to consolidate its position ahead of the general elections. The role of educated voters in the graduates’ constituency is seen as pivotal in shaping the legislative direction of the state.

By appealing directly to the electorate, KTR aims to foster a responsible voting culture, ensuring that the elected leaders are well-equipped to contribute to the state’s progress and governance.
