Tirumala Saare reaches Tiruchanoor

 Tirumala, Dec.6 (NSS):  On the last day of the Tiruchanoor Padmavati Ammavari Brahmotsavam on Friday, Tirumala Sare reached Tiruchanoor.

Srivari Sare was brought from Tirumala to Alipiri Padala Mandapam in Tirupati. After a special pooja, the Additional EO Ch Venkaiah Chowdary handed over the Sare to JEO  Veerabrahamam

It is customary to bring sare from Tirumala Srivari Temple every year on the day of Panchami Thirtham.

The Sare consisted of all sacred ingredients and the procession passed through the streets of Tirupati city via Komalamma Satram, Sri Kodandarama Swamy Temple, Sri Govindaraja Swamy Temple, RTC bus station, Tiruchanoor Pasupu Mandapam and special pooja was performed.

Later, Saare was presented to Ammavaru at Padma Pushkarini.  After that, Snapana Tirumanjanam was performed to Ammavaru and Sri Sudarshana Chakrattalwar. On the auspicious occasion, over one crore worth of ornaments which included Pandyan Crown, Lakshmi Haram, diamond necklace, diamond bangles and diamond earrings were presented to Sri Padmavati Devi from Srivaru.

TTD Chairman BR Naidu, TTD EO Syamala Rao, other officials, dignitaries and a large number of devotees participated in the procession.
