Hyderabad, Jan.17 (RAHNUMA): In view of the Telangana Sangeetha Nataka Academy’s Ghazal Programme at Chowmahalla Palace on Saturday evening, the Hyderabad Traffic Police have imposed traffic restrictions and diversions in the Charminar zone.
All vehicular movement on key arterial roads, including Madina – Charminar, Charminar – Shalibanda, Shalibanda – Volga Junction and Volga Junction – Moosabowli (via Khilwat Road) will be restricted from 2 pm to 11 pm to manage the anticipated heavy turnout.
According to traffic police, traffic will be diverted at major junctions such as Madina, Himmatpura, Volga Junction, Moosabowli, Chowk Maidan Kaman, Etebar Chowk, Sher-e-Batil Kaman and Lakkad Kote. City buses bound for Charminar will terminate at Afzalgunj, while RTC buses to districts will take longer alternate routes via Chaderghat – Saidabad – Aramghar.
