Hyderabad, Nov.7 (NSS): Minister for Agriculture Tummala Nageswara Rao has urged farmers to sell their cotton produce only at the Cotton Corporation of India (CCI) centers to benefit from the Minimum Support Price (MSP).
The Minister held a review meeting with officials of the Marketing department at the Secretariat here on Thursday and discussed the ongoing cotton procurement activities in the State.
During the meeting, the Minister instructed officials to monitor daily inflows at the cotton procurement centers. He also advised adherence to the Fair Average Quality (FAQ) standards set by CCI to secure higher prices.
