It is not however clear on which woman’s complaint the FIR has been filed, the report adds.
The Mumbai police on Wednesday registered an FIR against Arunabh Kumar, CEO of The Viral Fever, a digital entertainment startup, on charges of molestation as per a report by Jayprakash S Naidu in The Hindustan Times.
On March 12, an anonymous woman by the screen name of ‘Indian Fowler’, in a blog she wrote on Medium, had accused him of sexually harassing and molesting her on multiple occasions.
Since then, multiple women have come out with similar allegations against Arunabh and TVF.

It is not however clear on which woman’s complaint the FIR has been filed, the report adds.
“We have received a complaint from a woman and a FIR has been registered under section 354 (sexual harassment) and 509 (Word, gesture or act intended to insult the modesty of a woman) of the IPC against Arunabh Kumar,” a police official said.
TVF has rubbished all the allegations and released a statement saying, “This is an official response from TVF on the anonymous article published on Medium by the Indian Fowler. The article is completely ludicrous and defamatory against TVF and its team.”
“We will leave no stone unturned to find the author of the article and bring them to severe justice for making such false allegations.”
Meanwhile, Arunabh responded by saying, “I am a heterosexual, single man and when I find a woman sexy, I tell her she’s sexy. I compliment women. Is that wrong? Having said that, I am very particular about my behaviour.”
