‘Typewriting & Shorthand sector should be encouraged’

Hyderabad, July 4 (NSS)The Representatives of the Typewriting Association met with Technical Education   Commissioner A. Devasena and requested her through a memorandum to implement the typewriting system in the State on the lines of the Government of Tamil Nadu.

They said in Tamil Nadu, around two lakh people were appearing for the typewriting and shorthand exams, which are held once six months and the government will provide employment opportunities. It was explained to the Commissioner Devasena that only 6000 to 7,000 people are appearing for the exams in the State and added that the typewriting system should be improved in the State on the lines of Tamil Nadu. “If the Telangana government system is encouraged, we will also be able to compete with Tamil Nadu,” they said.

Treasurer of the association Vivek, Venkatesham, members Phani, Balaraju, Rajeshwar, Ratnarao, Tirupati Reddy, Rameshwarachari, Shashidhar, Chandrayya, Vivek, Padma, Nagashree, Om Prakash, Vamsi, Ashok, Muralidhar and others participated in the event. (NSS)
