Hyderabad, Nov.3 (NSS): BJP MP K Laxman today alleged that the Revanth Reddy government had broken its promises of waiving off crop loans and increasing the monetary incentive under Rythu Bharosa scheme. He issued a statement in this regard.
He stated, “Farmers will not get rythu bandhu, the crop loan waiver will not be completed. The bonus will be bogus,” he said in his statement. He criticised that there was no way for the State government to buy paddy from the farmers and added that there was no support price for cotton farmers.
He said CM Revanth Reddy told lies to come to power and added that after coming to power, he was deceiving the farmers by saying a different story every day. He also targeted the CM on providing jobs to the unemployed youth in Telangana. “Revanth Reddy says he has given 50,000 jobs after Congress came to power. Do you have the guts to say when the notifications and exams for those jobs were conducted?
Before the assembly elections last year, Rahul Gandhi and Revanth Reddy had promised students that they would get two lakh jobs in a year. What happened to all those assurances? In the 10 months since coming to power, the Congress leaders have made 25 foreign trips. There is no money for rythu bandhu and the loan waiver, but where is the money coming from for your foreign trips? Without implementing the schemes, the ‘high drama’ is being done by bringing diversion to the screen every day. No new projects are being constructed. Six guarantees are not being implemented. In the name of moisture, they refuse to buy cotton. They are not able to implement the 420 promises and are playing drama every day,” Laxman added.
