Nizamabad, Feb.16 (RAHNUMA): Nizamabad MP Dharmapuri Aravind has expressed his anger that the Congress, BRS, and MIM parties had united for winning in the Nizamabad Corporation Mayor and Deputy Mayor elections. He alleged that these three parties had put aside their ideologies and formed an immoral alliance to damage the BJP.
Speaking to the media after the city mayor and deputy mayor elections, he denounced the ruling Congress party and the Revanth Reddy government. Arvind questioned as to why Chief Minister Revanth Reddy was protecting the Kalvakuntla family, which is facing serious allegations such as phone tapping and Formula-E car racing. While criticizing on one hand, he questioned the secret behind bringing the BRS party candidates in Congress vehicles. He wanted the people to be told as to why the MIM party supported the Congress party . The MP alleged that some police officers acted as pawns for the ruling party in this election process. He claimed that the police’s hand sas clearly visible in bringing the BRS party candidate in a Congress van.
Victory for congress party by a narrow margin
He said that the Congress party candidate won by a narrow margin of just three votes against the BJP candidate Sravanthi Reddy. He also criticized that there was a Congress party’s strategy behind the victory of the MIM candidate over BJP candidate Bantu Ramu. He said that the result of this election was not a closed chapter for them . “Before the term of this body ends, we will reverse this result and show it. We will root out illegal alliances in the public sphere,” Arvind warned. He congratulated the winning mayor and deputy mayor on the occasion.
